STEM for Seniors
I founded STEM for Seniors, an initiative dedicated to bridging generational divides by bringing hands-on, accessible STEM experiences directly to older adults at assisted living facilities. My vision was twofold: to stimulate cognitive activity through fun, curiosity-driven science and engineering projects, and to use STEM as a tool to combat the deep sense of isolation that can linger in senior communities. I have worked at 3 different assisted living facilities, impacting 100+ seniors overall. I recruited a team of 20+ volunteers and secured a $1,000 grant to expand the program. Currently, working on expansion to 2 more facilities.

The goal was to broaden the conversation regarding AI and take it outside our school community. Grew the publication to a team of 10+ student writers, editors, and social media/newsletter managers. Oversaw the publication of over 30 well-researched articles covering AI tools, ethics, innovation, and real-world applications. Promoted the blog through social media and school announcements, reaching 250+ subscribers and gaining recognition from school administrators.

After drafting a proposal to the Board of Education and leading a recruitment campaign, I launched one of the first high school AI clubs in the state, focused on AI ethics. As Founder and President, I’ve grown the club to 40+ members, leading weekly discussions on AI research, applications, and ethics. We partnered with our school’s administration to create a student–teacher AI policy guide, which was officially adopted by the school in the 2025–26 school year. I also led the creation of an AI lab, where students and teachers came together to explore different AI tools. I'm currently working with the school board to propose a required AI course for freshmen.

I analyzed transportation trend data using Sigma and Excel to identify patterns, then used that analysis to support the creation of a transportation report for real estate/urban developers. Additionally, I conducted research into specific AI tools, such as Dialogue Flow, Jasper, Rasa, and more, that would help the company with some identified problem statements. I then presented and recommended these AI tools to the CEO and VP of Products at the company through a PPT presentation. I also wrote five blog posts for the company, where I detailed the transportation environment in 5 different cities – NYC, Toronto, Chicago, Denver, and Vancouver.

I worked as a Finance Intern with YCAT, a nonprofit advocating for climate action through youth-led initiatives. As part of my role, I researched and drafted grant applications to secure funding for sustainability projects.
